Our aim is to share the magic and beauty of Top Barn with you, and we go
home happy when you leave with big smiles on your faces! We pride
ourselves on the processes we have in place to make your visit truly amazing.
A hugely important part of our process is safety. As well as being
AALA (Adventure Activities Licensing Authority) registered all our activities
are risk assessed, and we are members of the governing bodies who rule
each of the activities we run.

Making Waves with Top Barn Activity Centre
Top Barn Activity Centre, has 10 acres of water, with a depth of 1.2m.
As with the dry activities, Water Sports can form part of a multi activity package, a taster session, or one 2 one with a qualified instructor. We are able to organize a variety of excursions for you to try out your skills.

All water users to have valid and current certificate of third party liability insurance for a min of 2 million pounds in one incident (copy given to TBAC)

Water Sports Activities
Kayaking
From taster sessions, to on the water games, this is a really enjoyable water sport, great as a leisure activity or as team building.
Available for groups of multiples of eight, spend a session with our qualified instructors learning the basics of how to manoeuvre and then onto a capsize drill - when you’re ready.
We also offer the new BCU 1 & 2 Star Award certification.
Part of the British Canoe Union (BCU).
Kayaking is differentiated from open canoeing by the fact that you use a double bladed paddle whereas open canoeing you uses a single blade one. |

Open Canoeing
Open canoeing is run in pairs or threes on our lake or from our exclusive access point on the River Severn. Learn the basics as you explore the lake and river Severn. As per kayaking we offer the new BCU 1 & 2 Star Award courses.
Would you like to explore part of the scenic river severn by Open Canoe? Open Canoeing is also part of our exiting Taster.

Dinghy Sailing
There’s nothing like this exhilarating experience. Once aboard your boat we’ll teach you how to harness the power of the wind and sail like a pro!
Top Barn Activity Centre has a fleet of 6 Laser Pico’s, and offer taster sessions, plus take a one 2 one with one of our instructors at only £50.00 for 2 hours.

Windsurfing
Learning to windsurf is fun and easy.
Take on this exciting challenge! We’ll teach you one 2 one with one of our instructors to get to know the equipment and how it works, then how to stand, and ultimately how to surf .
Would you like to try windsurfing for the first time? Then come along to one of our Wet 'n Wild days where you will have the opportunity whilst also trying two other fantastic water sports

Raft Building
This is a fantastic fun!
Sometimes frenzied activity is ideal for team building or youth groups, schools and birthday parties.
Design and build your raft out of barrels, ropes and logs and aim to successfully make it across the lake without your raft breaking up!
Identify the engineers and thinkers in your group, and get the strongest paddlers working hard to get you across the water.

Come and get power boating at Top Barn Activity Centre.
Learn to drive a high performance powerboat safely, and gain a nationally recognised qualification.
If you're looking to crew a safety boat at your local club or purely for pleasure boating, come and learn at Top Barn's picturesque site where you'll be greeted by a friendly a\nd professional team.
